Svalbard Autumn
Enjoy the Magic Autumn Light
.
Explore Svalbard in Autumn
The main subjects on this Svalbard Autumn Magic photo expedition will be wildlife and landscapes in stunning late-season light. Svalbard is the best place in the world to photograph Polar bears, and we hope to find some of them with great autumn light. The ice condition at this time of year allows us to explore the northeastern parts of the archipelago, and hopefully the pack ice in the North.

September is a great time for watching and photographing big whales. We have good chances of finding Blue whales, Fin whales, Humpback whales, Mink whales, Beluga, and White-beaked dolphins. The light conditions can be great at this time of year, so get ready for some stunning wildlife photography. Join us for an unforgettable experience!

As usual on all our Svalbard photo tours we will plan for longer stops than normal tourist cruises when going ashore, to provide participants with enough time to get excellent pictures. We use 2 zodiac boats to get ashore or when searching for wildlife at sea.
Itinerary Svalbard Autumn
Svalbard is located at about 80 degrees North, so we scheduled our Svalbard Autumn expeditions in accordance with prevailing weather and ice conditions. Our captain is an expert navigator in Arctic conditions. He is an important advisor in planning the expedition in a manner that allows us to maximize the photo opportunities and enjoyment of this Svalbard photo tour.
