Alaska 06.09-15.09 2017

Day 1 – 06.09.2019 This was our first Alaska photo expedition, with Ole J Liodden as the WildPhoto guide, and everyone were excited to start this trip. We met in Kodiak and had a short evening photo trip to a misty forest nearby.

Day 2 – 07.09 2017 We started early in the morning with a visit to a salmon river in Kodiak, photographing some bald eagles. In the afternoon it was time for the flights with sea planes to Katmai. We landed close to one of the best “Grizzly rivers” and started to prepare for a week in the wilderness.

Day 9-10 – 14-15.09 2017 In the afternoon we flew back to Kodiak after an exciting week in Katmai with the Grizzly bears. Some of our clients talked about “best trip ever”, and it was certainly a very special expedition. The three close meetings with the wild wolves and even a fishing wolf gave us some really unique images. We had one night in Kodiak before we flew back to Anchorage and this Alaska adventure was history.

Let us know if you want to travel with us on a similar photo expedition to Alaska. We are now offering photo expeditions in Katmai based from a small expedition ship, which will also give us great opportunities for photographing sea mammals, birds and landscape.
